Grits Casserole<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 cups water<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>1 cup uncooked quick grits<\/p>\n<p>1 9-ounce package precooked turkey sausage crumbles<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons butter<\/p>\n<p>4 eggs, beaten<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup milk<\/p>\n<p>Heat oven to 350 degrees. \u00a0Butter a 3 quart casserole. \u00a0Heat water to boiling, add grits and salt. \u00a0Cook according to package directions until tender. \u00a0Stir in the sausage, 1 cup of the cheese and butter. \u00a0Mix together the milk and eggs and add to grits mixture. \u00a0Pour into casserole pan. \u00a0Sprinkle with remaining cheese. \u00a0Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set. \u00a0Cool 10 minutes before serving.<\/p>\n<p>Served by Julie at
